HOW TO make a jam jar pulse jet engine ( reynst )THAT WORKS. What Fuel? What jar? How big should the hole be? One hole or two? Safety.
My little invention where I put a little fast charge prop motor from a cheap little rc plane and taped it to my sons toy truck. Then I taped a 9 volt battery on the back and touched one wire to the positive and one to the negative. And believe it or not, this little sucker would go for as long as the 9 volt held a charge, which would be probably 3 or 4 days. The little motor would probably burn out before the battery gave up though.
I've made my own cannon... You take an iron ink cartridge, take the ink out (the best way is to heat the cartridge, not write with it all day long as I planned to do at first :D), put 2-3 match-tops in it, compress it all together wit a match, put the match in on the top, heat it on the spot were the match-tops are, and bang... If it comes out right it can make a sound of a small firecracker, and the match can fly out up to 5 meters... I tried putting cartboard in front of it and it went through... Also, I mounted the cartridge on a toy-car chasis so that it looks like the german 88mm AA-AT gun.
Croatian: Napravio sam svoj topić... Uzmeš željezni uložak od kemijske, izvadiš tintu (i to tako da zagrijavaš uložak, a ne da cijeli dan pišeš s njim što sam ja bio počeo), staviš 2-3 kresa šibice unutra, naguraš to unutra sa šibicom, staviš šibicu unutra do kuda ide, zagriješ na mjestu gdje su kresovi i bum... Ako dobro ispadne čuje se ko manja petarda, a šibica odleti i do 5 metara. Stavio sam karton ispred topića i šibica ga je probila. Stavio sam uložak na donji dio autića da izgleda kao poznati njemački 88mm top.
*I DONT CARE IF YOU MAKE A BETTER ONE, THIS WAS A FIRST VIDEO I'VE EVER MADE, AND ITS CALLED FRIKIN' DIY, DON'T EXPECT IT TO SHOOT A BULLET. I KNOW IT HAS WRONG SPELLING IN THERE. AS I SAID, IT WAS MY FIRST VIDEO SO I DIDNT KNOW HOW TO CHANGE IT. JUST STOP POSTING SHIT ON THERE.
***UPDATE***
If you are going to build a laser the circuit used in this video is a BARE MINIMUM. Although the one I made in this video still works fine to this day, you will probably want to add a small capacitor (anything over 10v 16uf is fine)in parallel with the diode to even out any voltage spikes from the battery. To build a well regulated circuit check out www.laserpointerforums.com for some great, easy to build, current and voltage regulated circuits for lasers.
One thing to note is the prices of the diodes have jumped from $13 to $19.50 but you can buy the diodes off of sales.stonetek.org

A few tips
-DO NOT LET ANYTHING SHORT!
-When you have turned the pot so the brightness turns high, don't even think about turning it more to make it more powerful. If you do that the power will go from 100mW+ to .1mW and your diode will be screwed
-buy more than one diode cause they can break by simply touching them sometimes, too much current to the diode or a ton of other things so you will be safe buying more, and if you have extras build more modules and sell them to your friends for even more fun! (go ahead and charge $100 for them so you can be rich)
-Buy goggles for these things! Goggles cost around $40 and are easily worth it, your eyes are worth more than $40 and if you get hit in the eye by this thing without goggles on, you're screwed.
